The stars of the film HOPE, Hwang Jung-min, Zo In-sung, and Jung Hoyeon, are set to begin their official promotional schedule, starting with a YouTube appearance.
Hwang Jung-min, Zo In-sung, and Jung Hoyeon will appear on the YouTube channel DdeunDdeun's Pinggyego, which will be released at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 4. They are expected to share various stories, ranging from behind-the-scenes details of the filming to their lively chemistry. Hwang Jung-min, a professional guest who won the grand prize at the 2nd Pinggyego Awards, will share his thoughts on working with director Na Hong-jin for the second time following The Wailing, as well as his experience attending the Cannes Film Festival.
Zo In-sung and Jung Hoyeon, making their second appearance on Pinggyego, will pique interest in the film by discussing everything from their efforts to prepare for intense action scenes to the atmosphere on set. This episode, featuring the delightful chemistry between Hwang Jung-min, Zo In-sung, Jung Hoyeon, and host Yu Jae-seok, can be viewed on the YouTube channel DdeunDdeun's Pinggyego at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 4.
HOPE tells the story of Beom-seok, the head of a police substation in Hopo Port near the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), who hears reports from local youths about the appearance of a tiger. The story begins as the entire village goes on high alert and faces an unbelievable reality. Invited to the competition section of the Cannes Film Festival and having received attention from global media and critics, HOPE will officially meet domestic audiences in about a month and a half.
The film's three leads, Hwang Jung-min, Zo In-sung, and Jung Hoyeon, plan to dedicate themselves to promotions by appearing on YouTube, television programs, and media interviews in line with the release schedule.
HOPE is scheduled to be released on July 15.
