According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network for movie theater admissions on July 3, THE EYES drew 50,724 viewers nationwide on July 2. The cumulative number of viewers stands at 482,861. Having reached the number one spot at the box office for the first time on July 2, THE EYES maintained its momentum for a second straight day.
Although its advance ticket reservation rate still trails behind 'Toy Story 5,' the film continued its winning streak thanks to strong walk-in ticket sales. Attention is now focused on whether it can defend its top position over the upcoming weekend. This weekend, which marks the second week since its release, is expected to be a turning point in reaching the 1 million viewer milestone.
THE EYES is a suspense thriller about Seo-jin, who is gradually losing her sight due to a genetic disease, as she uncovers the truth behind the suspicious death of her twin sibling.
