Prime Minister Han Seong-sook stated today (July 1) that South Korea’s status is shifting from a country that chases the era of great transformation to one that leads it.
Upon arriving at the Government Complex Seoul for her first day of work, the Prime Minister met with reporters and said, "The government will move more swiftly in line with this shift, and I will do my utmost to ensure that necessary policies are implemented in a timely manner."
Han further emphasized that the government would make bolder investments in artificial intelligence and high-tech industries, and actively pursue the rationalization of regulations that may hinder innovation.
She added that she would strive to ensure that these achievements permeate the lives of the people and lead to opportunities for growth and advancement for the youth.
