National Basketball Association (NBA) star Kawhi Leonard is leaving the Los Angeles Clippers to return to the Toronto Raptors.
The Associated Press reported today (July 1), citing sources, that Toronto has agreed to send Brandon Ingram, Gradey Dick, two first-round draft picks, and two second-round draft picks to the Clippers in exchange for Leonard.
Leonard played just one season for Toronto during the 2018-2019 season, during which the team won the NBA Finals.
After moving to the Clippers, Leonard played in 65 games during the 2025-2026 season, delivering a strong performance with an average of 27.0 points.
A seven-time All-Star, Leonard also won an NBA championship with the San Antonio Spurs in 2014 and has been recognized as one of the best defenders in the NBA.
