Police have launched an investigation following a report that a vehicle parked in an Incheon commercial building was vandalized with red spray paint.
According to the Incheon Yeonsu Police Station on Tuesday (June 30), a report was filed to 112 at 3:30 p.m. the previous day, stating that a vehicle belonging to a woman in her 50s, identified as A, had been vandalized with red spray paint while parked in the underground parking lot of a nine-story commercial building in Songdo-dong, Yeonsu-gu.
The white vehicle was covered in red spray paint graffiti, and several crumpled tissues were found on and around the car.
It is reported that A is an employee working at a store within the building.
Police are currently tracking the suspect by analyzing closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage from near the parking lot.
A police official stated, "The report was made by the vehicle owner," adding, "We are conducting a comprehensive investigation, including looking into any personal grievances A may have."
