Body of Man in His 40s Found in Waters off Seogwipo, Jeju; Coast Guard Investigating

The Coast Guard has launched an investigation after the body of a man was discovered in the waters off Seogwipo, Jeju.

According to the Seogwipo Coast Guard on Tuesday (June 30), a fishing boat operating nearby discovered the man floating in the water off Taeheung-ri, Namwon-eup, Seogwipo, at 5:14 p.m. the previous day and reported it.

The man, who was recovered by the Coast Guard, was identified as being in his 40s and a resident of another region. No signs of foul play have been found so far.

The Coast Guard is conducting further investigations to determine the exact circumstances of his death.
