The week begins with the heat intensifying.
For the first time this year, a heat wave advisory has been issued for all of Seoul, and heat wave advisories remain in effect across parts of the Seoul metropolitan area and Chungcheong Province. Today, June 29, the daytime temperature in Seoul soared to 32.5°C (91°F).
Due to atmospheric instability, strong showers of around 20mm per hour are expected to pass through various regions until this evening. As showers are also forecast for inland areas tomorrow, it would be wise to carry an umbrella that can also serve as a parasol.

Tomorrow morning's low in Seoul is expected to be 22°C (72°F), and daytime temperatures will rise to 33°C (91°F) in Cheongju, making it as hot as today.
Rain is expected to begin in Jeju on Wednesday and expand to the Chungcheong and southern regions by Saturday.
