Lee Jin-sol, a singer formerly of the group April, has successfully completed her first music show performance since transitioning to a solo career.
Lee recently appeared on the 12th episode of Arirang TV's Simply K-Pop CON-TOUR to perform her new song, "Too cool to be Grown ups." As it was her first music show appearance as a solo artist following the end of her activities with April, the stage held special significance.
After finishing the performance, Lee shared her thoughts, saying, "It was a truly meaningful time to be able to stand on a music show stage for the first time since going solo." She added, "I was able to show a great performance thanks to the support of many people throughout the preparation process, as well as the help of the staff at my agencies, Air Global Castle and NDY Entertainment." She continued, "I will do my best to show even more growth through various stages and activities in the future," while expressing her gratitude to her fans.
Her agency, Air Global Castle, stated, "This performance was a meaningful first music show that signals Lee Jin-sol's new beginning as a solo artist." They added, "We ask for your continued interest and support as she plans to showcase a wider range of music and new charms through various activities."
Through her new song "Too cool to be Grown ups," Lee Jin-sol plans to continue her career as a solo artist by presenting a musical color and performance distinct from her previous group activities.
Meanwhile, Lee Jin-sol debuted as a member of the girl group April in 2015 and has been taking on new challenges as a solo singer since the team's activities concluded.
