The Busan Mobility Show has officially opened, evolving beyond a traditional auto show to offer a comprehensive look at the future of the mobility industry. This year, the event features not only new vehicle unveilings but also an expanded exhibition space across the city of Busan.

The new Avante is unveiled amidst a flurry of camera flashes.
As the 8th-generation model, which has undergone a full redesign for the first time in six years, Busan was chosen as the stage for its world premiere.

New cars are not the only stars of this year's Busan Mobility Show.
Automotive software technology that enhances driver convenience and safety based on AI has also been unveiled.
It demonstrates the direction of the future mobility industry, where AI and software converge beyond the traditional automobile.
Purpose-Built Vehicles (PBVs), which allow for structural changes based on their intended use, also drew attention.
The exhibition showcased how cars have evolved into service spaces, featuring mobile banks, AI patrol cars, and laundry service vehicles.

Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer BYD also participated in the Busan Mobility Show for the first time, launching its foray into the domestic market by showcasing its next-generation hybrid technology and electric vehicles.
The exhibition format has also changed this year.
The event has expanded its stage beyond BEXCO to include major tourist attractions in Busan.
In time for the opening of the beach, Haeundae Gunam-ro Square has been transformed into a special exhibition area for RVs and camping cars, while Domoheon is hosting an art exhibition featuring the history of mobility for the public.

The Busan Mobility Show, which showcases the present and future of the mobility industry—ranging from new car reveals to AI, software, leisure, and aviation—will run until July 5.
