Man in His 40s Stabbed at Ilmin Museum of Art in Gwanghwamun; Police Tracking Suspect in His 70s

Police are tracking a suspect after a man in his 40s was stabbed at the Dong-A Ilbo building in Jongno-gu, Seoul.

According to the Jongno Police Station today (June 26), a report was received at 7:50 a.m. today stating that a man in his 40s had been injured in the arm by a weapon wielded by a man in his 70s at the Ilmin Museum of Art, located within the Dong-A Ilbo building.

The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment and is reportedly not in life-threatening condition.

Police are currently tracking the whereabouts of the suspect in his 70s, who fled the scene immediately after the incident. Once apprehended, they plan to investigate the exact circumstances and motive behind the crime.
