Broadcaster An Young-mi has officially become a mother of two.
On June 26, her agency, Media Lab Siso, released an official statement confirming, "An Young-mi gave birth to a healthy second son at a hospital in Seoul on June 25."
According to the agency, both the mother and the baby are in excellent health. An is currently resting and recovering with the support of her husband and family.
The agency added, "We ask for your warm support for An Young-mi and her family as they welcome a precious new life," and noted, "An plans to return to broadcasting in good health after a full recovery."
An married her non-celebrity husband in 2020 and welcomed her first son in July 2023. After announcing her second pregnancy earlier this year, she has now embraced the joy of becoming a mother of two.
An, who had been active as the DJ for the MBC FM4U radio show "Two O'Clock Date with An Young-mi," shared her thoughts with listeners before taking maternity leave. During the broadcast, she said, "It still doesn't feel real that I'm having a second child," adding, "I will have a safe delivery and return healthy."

When An recently announced she would be taking a break from broadcasting for her second delivery, some netizens speculated, "Isn't she going to give birth in the U.S. again?" reviving similar rumors.
