Lotte Cinema is transforming the movie-going experience by hosting the stand-up comedy show, "Lee Sang-jun Show – Solo Party."
Lotte Cinema announced that it will host the stand-up comedy performance by comedian Lee Sang-jun, organized and managed by MBC C&I, at Lotte Cinema World Tower for three days: June 26, July 10, and July 24.
The show is expected to feature interactive segments where the comedian engages directly with the audience, sharing stories about dating, marriage, and various everyday episodes through Lee Sang-jun's signature witty storytelling.
Notably, the show has already garnered significant attention, with all tickets selling out within one minute of the reservation opening. This serves as a prime example of how movie theaters are expanding beyond simple film screenings into cultural spaces where audiences can enjoy diverse content.
Furthermore, the theater's infrastructure will be utilized to enhance the immersion of the performance. Audiences can enjoy the show comfortably in premium sofa seats, while the large screen and advanced sound system will allow them to experience Lee Sang-jun's expressions, witty remarks, and the audience's lively reactions with greater intensity.
To make the experience even more enjoyable, Lotte Cinema is launching the "Lee Sang-jun Show Combo," featuring beer and nachos. By combining content with food and beverages, the theater plans to offer a unique experience that can only be found at the cinema.
In this way, Lotte Cinema is redefining the role of the movie theater by proposing a different kind of entertainment compared to traditional performance venues.
