A senior U.S. State Department official in charge of public affairs is set to visit South Korea and Japan.
According to the U.S. State Department on June 24 (local time), Dylan Johnson, Assistant Secretary of State for Public Affairs, will visit Thailand, South Korea, and Japan from today through July 1.
Assistant Secretary Johnson, who served as deputy press secretary for Donald Trump's 2024 presidential campaign, has been leading the Bureau of Public Affairs since January.
Johnson also concurrently handles public communications for the White House National Security Council (NSC).
