Actor Choi Gwang-je Becomes a Father After 5 Years of Marriage: "Thank You to My Wife for Enduring the Last 10 Months"

Actor Choi Gwang-je has become a father five years after his marriage.

Choi recently announced the birth of his second-generation child through his social media, stating on the 23rd, "Tteungeum-i (fetal nickname) has finally come into the world."

Sharing a photo showing the baby's ear and part of their face, Choi expressed his gratitude to his wife and his overwhelming feelings as a new father, saying, "I am so grateful to and amazed by my wife for enduring so well over the past 10 months. Although we are very inexperienced, we will do our best to raise our child well."

He added, "Thank you to everyone who reached out and cheered us on. I sincerely respect all mothers and experienced parents in the world. I hope that health and happiness fill every home."

Finally, he expressed his affection for his newborn child and his wife, saying, "I love you, Tteungeum-i. I love you, So-hee."

Previously, Choi revealed the pregnancy last month while celebrating his wife's birthday when she was heavily pregnant. At the time, he expressed his affection, saying, "From the moment we first met, through dating, marriage, and pregnancy, you have consistently supported and loved me. Happy birthday, and I love you, So-hee."

Choi Gwang-je married his non-celebrity wife in September 2021 after three years of dating. Born in 1985, Choi debuted in the 2016 film 'Master' and gained recognition through appearances in dramas such as 'Ms. Ma, Nemesis', 'Different Dreams', 'Pegasus Market', 'Eccentric! Chef Moon', and 'Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol'.
