North Korea Incites Hostility Ahead of Korean War Anniversary, Calling U.S. and South Korea 'Immutable Main Enemies'

North Korea has been stoking hostility among its residents toward the United States and South Korea, aiming to strengthen internal unity ahead of the anniversary of the outbreak of the Korean War.

The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported that revenge rallies were held in various locations yesterday (June 23) to mark the 'Day of Struggle Against U.S. Imperialism.'

At a rally held by the working class and members of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea at the Central Class Education House in Pyongyang, a speaker denounced the "heinous crimes of human slaughter committed by the U.S. imperialists" during the Korean War, according to the report.

Participants stated that "the increasingly vicious acts of sovereignty infringement committed by the enemies in recent times clearly prove once again that the U.S. imperialists and the South Korean puppets are our immutable main enemies."
