Band LUCY shared their deeper musical world and candid stories alongside promotions for their second studio album.
Magazine 'Singles' recently released a photoshoot and interview with LUCY, who returned with their second studio album 'Childish.' In the photoshoot, LUCY captured attention by showcasing a charm where boyishness and maturity coexist.
This promotion holds a more special meaning for the members as it is their first activity as a full group since the youngest member Gwang-il's discharge from the military. Gwang-il recalled the time in the interview, saying, "We did a concert together for the first time in a while, and I was very nervous. I was worried I might be a burden."
LUCY also shared their thoughts on performing at the KSPO DOME (formerly Gymnastics Arena) for the first time since their debut. Ye-chan said, "In the early days of our debut, I envied artists holding solo concerts at the Gymnastics Arena, and I thought that I definitely wanted to perform here as LUCY one day," adding, "I was grateful and moved that the dream became a reality." Sang-yeop also expressed his gratitude to the fans, saying, "It was an even more special performance thanks to the fans who filled the seats just to see LUCY."
They also introduced the musical highlights of their second studio album 'Childish.' Won-sang explained, "The highlight of LUCY's music is the various sounds hidden within the violin line," adding, "In particular, several homages are hidden like Easter eggs in 'Chameleon.'" Ye-chan pointed out a listening tip, adding, "I hope you listen closely to the violin scale at the beginning of the first chorus of 'Sprout.'"
Having grown together over a long time, the members also shared their thoughts on the team's future. Won-sang said, "In the past, I hoped LUCY would achieve greater success as a band, but now I just want us to be happy." In response, Ye-chan showed their tight-knit teamwork by replying, "That's right, we have to be happy."
