Bang Jee Min of the group izna has shared her thoughts on being dubbed a "representative visual of the fifth generation."
On the afternoon of June 8, izna held a showcase at the Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their third mini-album, 'SET THE TEMPO'. During the event, Bang Jee Min opened up about the trending "Yi-Bang-Won" visual combination.
Recently, K-pop fans have been spotlighting a new fifth-generation visual lineup called "Yi-Bang-Won"—a combination of Hearts2Hearts' IAN, izna's Bang Jee Min, and ILLIT's WONHEE. This follows the iconic fourth-generation visual lineup often represented by "Jang-Ka-Sul-Yu" (JANGWONYOUNG, KARINA, SULLYOON, and YUNA). The trio recently drew significant attention after appearing together on tvN's variety show 'Amazing Saturday'.
Regarding this, Bang Jee Min shared with a shy smile, "I am incredibly grateful just to be called a representative visual of the fifth generation. WONHEE and IAN are such amazing friends, and my goal is to show great synergy together." She added, "I feel so happy and delighted."
Bang Jee Min, who currently hosts KBS 2TV's 'Music Bank' alongside actor Kim Jae-won, also expressed her deep affection for her role as the host.
"I am so happy to be a music show MC, and I still look forward to every Friday," Bang Jee Min added. "It's wonderful because it gives me the chance to meet so many different artists. Since it comes with a lot of responsibility, I am working hard to grow further."
Meanwhile, izna will release their third mini-album 'SET THE TEMPO' today at 6 PM and kick off their official promotions.
