The group i-dle is making a comeback this summer.
At midnight on June 8, agency Cube Entertainment released a comeback teaser for i-dle's ninth mini-album, 'We made,' which is set to drop on July 6. 'We made' marks the group's first new release in about six months, following their digital single 'Mono (Feat. skaiwater)' released in January. In terms of mini-albums, this comeback comes approximately one year and two months after 'We are,' which was released in May of last year.
Notably, the album's title carries a narrative that connects to their debut mini-album 'I am' and their eighth mini-album 'We are,' which was released after their rebranding. The title 'We made,' which also evokes their second mini-album 'I made,' expands i-dle's organic album universe, adding deeper meaning to the release.
The accompanying teaser video utilizes thermal imaging and X-ray concepts to visually express the sensory changes that love inflicts on the body. It hints at the mood of the new album by showing the heart, fingertips, and even the mind of an interlocutor colored with warm emotions. Additionally, the undulating 'We made' logo symbolizes the energy of love and the amplitude of emotions, raising curiosity.
Earlier this year, i-dle received critical acclaim from both domestic and international fans for their single 'Mono (Feat. skaiwater),' which delivered a message of focusing on the essentials. Having been recognized for their unique musical style and ability to pull off diverse concepts, anticipation is high for the new musical spectrum i-dle will showcase with this upcoming release.
Meanwhile, ahead of the new album's release, i-dle is currently on their fourth world tour, '2026 i-dle WORLD TOUR [Syncopation]'. They plan to keep the comeback excitement alive by meeting global fans in Singapore, Yokohama, Hong Kong, and other cities.
