Artist JUNNY is making a comeback with his new digital single, "Heaven Can Wait."
JUNNY will release his new digital single "Heaven Can Wait" on various online music platforms on June 11 at 6 PM.
His agency, Mauve Company, introduced the title and concept of the new song by sequentially releasing image teasers on official social media channels on May 27, May 29, and June 2. The revealed teasers feature a sensory logo and a circle-shaped structure, utilizing free arrangement and deconstruction to create a unique atmosphere reminiscent of a modern art piece.
In the first teaser, the keyword "Heaven" was revealed using a wax seal and a crossword puzzle. The second teaser hinted at "Can" through an image of an egg. Finally, the third teaser provided a hint for "Wait" using a cake, completing the title of the new song. Through the teasing content that spanned about a week, JUNNY uniquely unfolded the narrative of "Heaven Can Wait," raising fans' curiosity.
"Heaven Can Wait" is a song that carries the meaning of "heaven can be put on hold for a moment," telling a story about the present moment made even more precious by the emotion of love. In particular, as it shares the same title as a track from the late Michael Jackson's album, attention is focused on this new story filled with JUNNY's unique sensibility and interpretation.
Furthermore, the image teasers, which stand out with their sensory mise-en-scène, are also raising anticipation for the music video to be released alongside the track.
Meanwhile, JUNNY will meet fans at his first domestic solo concert, "DJ Soulscape Curated 29 JUNNY," held at Hyundai Card Understage in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, on July 13 at 7 PM.
Additionally, he continues his active musical journey by featuring in the collaborative album "MOHO" by dress and Raf Sandou, which is set to be released on June 3 at 6 PM.
