SOYEON, the leader of the group I-DLE, has unveiled her first collaboration with American singer-songwriter and Grammy-winning artist Anderson .Paak.
Their new collaborative track, "International," was released on various music platforms on May 29. The song is featured on the soundtrack album 'K-Pops! (Music from and inspired by K-Pops! Motion Picture)' for the film 'K-Pops!', which was directed by Anderson .Paak.
"International" is drawing significant attention as the first collaboration between SOYEON and Anderson .Paak, a nine-time Grammy Award winner who also promotes alongside global pop star Bruno Mars in the project group Silk Sonic. The track blends SOYEON's signature powerful rapping with Anderson .Paak's rhythmic vocals, delivering an energetic sound that transcends borders and genres.
The soundtrack album had already generated high anticipation among global music fans prior to its release, thanks to a star-studded lineup of various leading K-pop artists. The addition of SOYEON, who has established an unrivaled presence as both the leader and producer of I-DLE, has further fueled the excitement.
SOYEON has been steadily expanding her musical spectrum through recent collaborations with both domestic and international artists. Following her feature on producer R.Tee's "DAMDADI" last year, she released the collaborative track "DON'T DIE" with American rapper Odetari in February. Recently, she also showcased her prowess as a producer by participating in the composition of I-DLE's digital single "Mono (Feat. skaiwater)" under the moniker "icebluerabbit."
Meanwhile, SOYEON's group I-DLE is currently on their fourth world tour, "2026 I-DLE WORLD TOUR [Syncopation]." Following a successful performance in Melbourne on May 27, they are set to meet local fans at the Qudos Bank Arena on May 30.
