Ahn Hyo Seop of 'Sold Out on You' faces a desperate crisis as he confronts a nightmare from his past.
In the 11th episode of the SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Sold Out on You' (written by Jin Seung-hee, directed by Ahn Jong-yeon), airing tonight (May 27), the 'Good Morning Cream Incident' that once shook the industry resurfaces, threatening to swallow the protagonist Matthew Lee (played by Ahn Hyo Seop).
Having suffered a major setback due to the Good Morning Cream incident he previously developed, Matthew Lee decided to develop cosmetics again in Deokpung Village after a long period of wandering and contemplation. This time, he aimed to restore his reputation by pouring his heart into creating a cream that anyone can use safely.
While support has poured in for his second attempt—having once been spotlighted with the title of 'genius researcher'—this upcoming broadcast will see him hit by an uncontrollable backlash.
Still cuts released ahead of the broadcast heighten the tension, teasing a development where victims of the Good Morning Cream personally track down Matthew Lee to protest fiercely. The sight of Matthew Lee hanging his head, covered from head to toe in cream presumably thrown by the victims, evokes deep sympathy. The residents of Deokpung Village, who cherished Matthew Lee like family, are also thrown into deep shock by his crisis.
