SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama "Manager Kim" (written by Nam Dae-jung, directed by Lee Seung-young and Lee So-eun), which is confirmed to premiere on Friday, June 26, is a "Dad Universe" revenge action drama. It follows "the most ordinary" father who becomes "the most dangerous" man to fight and rescue his only daughter. Based on the popular Naver webtoon of the same name, the series has garnered significant attention since its production stage.
Writer Nam Dae-jung, recognized for his witty scripts and directing in films like "Love Reset" and "The Last Ride", has joined forces with director Lee Seung-young, who delivered suspenseful direction in "Wonderful World", "Tracer", and "Voice 2", alongside the fresh and passionate director Lee So-eun, signaling the birth of a well-made action drama.
Above all, So Ji-sub's dramatic acting transformation in the title role is captivating.
