Rapper Yang Hong-won (27) is embarking on a new challenge, opening up about how his daily life has changed since becoming a father.
On May 21, Yang Hong-won announced the launch of his new YouTube content on his social media, revealing that the first episode would be released at 7 p.m. today. Snippets of the upcoming video caught the public's attention, showing his realistic worries and changed mindset as a husband and father.
In the video, Yang Hong-won shared, "If there's a reason I decided to do YouTube, it's because it allows me to play my role as a father for even just one more day. That's the biggest reason." The video also revealed his unexpected charm as he naturally conversed with his daughter. He added, "Through this shoot, I want to get my life patterns in order in every aspect. I want to become an adult," expressing his sense of responsibility as the head of the household.
His wife, Won Hyun-joo, who also appeared in the video, expressed her affection for him, saying, "My only regret is that we don't get to spend as much time together, but he treats me so well and I can see how hard he tries. I feel it and I'm grateful."
While Yang Hong-won has been loved for his raw rapping and free-spirited image, he previously made headlines when it was revealed that he had been in a long-term relationship with one person for nearly eight years. Yang Hong-won and Won Hyun-joo began dating around 2017 and welcomed their daughter, Yang Rua, in November of last year.
At the time, Yang Hong-won shared the news of his daughter's birth on social media, writing, "My fans. Hyun-joo did it!!! My daughter Yang Rua. Congratulate me."
