"Wishing Them Strength in Their Recovery" Yoo Hae-jin Donates 100 Million Won to Asan Medical Center for Cancer Patients

Actor Yoo Hae-jin has donated 100 million won to support cancer patients.

According to Asan Medical Center on the 13th, Yoo recently contributed 100 million won to a fund dedicated to the treatment of cancer patients.

"I decided to make this donation with the hope that patients will successfully overcome their difficult treatment journeys and return to their ordinary daily lives," Yoo stated. "I hope that patients can receive treatment in a better, more comfortable, and safer environment."

Asan Medical Center plans to use Yoo's donation to build advanced treatment systems for cancer patients and to improve the overall treatment environment.

Back in 2022, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Yoo donated 50 million won to Asan Medical Center to support medical staff and assist in the treatment of pediatric patients. Following that, he donated an additional 50 million won in 2023. With this latest contribution, his cumulative donations to Asan Medical Center have reached 200 million won.

Yoo Hae-jin recently achieved his fifth film to surpass 10 million viewers with "The King's Warden," which drew 16.84 million moviegoers. Thanks to this success, he was awarded the Grand Prize in the film category at the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards.
