GOT7 member and actor JINYOUNG has donated 50 million won to support music education for children overseas.

On the 13th, the international children's rights NGO Save the Children announced the news of Park's donation.

This donation was made to commemorate the release of Park's solo mini-album, 'Said & Done.' The funds will be used for music education projects for children in countries with insufficient educational infrastructure. The core objective is to help children discover their potential through music and grow in a more stable environment.

JINYOUNG is considered one of the entertainment industry's representative "icons of philanthropy." Starting with a 30 million won donation in 2023 to help children affected by the earthquake in Turkey, he joined the "Honors Club," a group for major donors to Save the Children.

His charitable journey has not stopped there. He has consistently continued his good deeds, including donating 30 million won for relief efforts following the 2025 earthquake in Myanmar and 100 million won for a meal support project for children in Korea. Including this latest donation, the cumulative amount Park has contributed to Save the Children totals 210 million won.

Choi Ji-won, team leader of the Philanthropy Team at Save the Children, expressed her gratitude, stating, "Music is an important medium that fosters new possibilities and self-esteem in children. Donor JINYOUNG's warm sharing will serve as a solid foundation for children to nurture their dreams."
