Yoo Seon-ho, who was beloved as the youngest member of '2 Days & 1 Night', is leaving the show after a long journey of three and a half years.
The production team of the KBS 2TV variety show '2 Days & 1 Night Season 4' officially announced the departure of member Yoo Seon-ho on the 12th. According to the producers, Yoo Seon-ho will bid a beautiful farewell to viewers by sharing his final thoughts during the broadcast on the 31st.
During his final recording, which took place recently, Yoo Seon-ho expressed his deep affection for '2 Days & 1 Night'. Defining the program as "the entirety of my 20s," he shared his feelings, saying, "The time I spent traveling across the country was a valuable experience that I will never forget for the rest of my life."
Yoo Seon-ho, who joined the program in December 2022, drew attention as the first member born in the 2000s in the history of '2 Days & 1 Night'. He brought a fresh breeze to the show with his youthful energy, as well as his honest and innocent charm.
In particular, he boasted exceptional chemistry with the older members, forming the "Mukbo (Glutton) Brothers" with Moon Se-yoon and the "Weakest Duo" with DINDIN. His unpredictable sense of variety and the freshness of a youngest member brought great laughter to viewers in every episode, cementing his unique presence.
It is said that while spending his final night, Yoo Seon-ho touched those on set by saying, "The journey has ended, but I am grateful to have gained reliable older brothers who will be with me for life," adding, "I sincerely thank the viewers who loved me despite my shortcomings."
The production team also sent warm encouragement, stating, "We sincerely thank Yoo Seon-ho for brightening the program for such a long time," and added, "We will continue to cheer for Yoo Seon-ho's future as he takes a leap forward as an actor."
