Actor Byeon Wooseok is set to provide the grand finale for the 'Perfect Crown' soundtrack.
On the 11th, Kakao Entertainment announced that the final soundtrack track, sung by Byeon Wooseok—who is currently starring as Prince I-an in the MBC Friday-Saturday drama 'Perfect Crown'—will be officially released on the 15th.
This track serves as a 'hidden card' that was not included in the initial soundtrack lineup. It was first revealed during the ending and preview of the 10th episode, which aired on the 9th. Despite its short duration, Byeon Wooseok’s sorrowful vocals, which played as Seong Hee-ju (played by IU) and Prince I-an (played by Byeon Wooseok) faced an unprecedented crisis, delivered a powerful thrill to viewers.
Immediately after the broadcast, social media and online communities were flooded with inquiries about the release, with comments such as "I burst into tears at Prince I-an's voice" and "I've been waiting for Byeon Wooseok's soundtrack, and it's finally coming," proving the intense buzz surrounding the song.
Byeon Wooseok previously proved his star power by sweeping major domestic and international music charts with the song 'Sudden Shower' from the drama 'Lovely Runner'. In 'Perfect Crown', he is expected to further amplify the drama's romantic mood and poignant narrative by personally infusing his voice with the deep emotional arc of the character he portrays, Prince I-an.
