Actress Kang Sung-yeon has shared a life update, revealing that she has remarried and introducing her husband to the public.
On the 10th, Kang posted a long message along with several photos on her social media. The photos show Kang and her partner smiling brightly in a natural setting, which appears to be Jeju Island. The two drew attention as they posed affectionately, leaning against each other with happy smiles.
"I was able to smile because I had you to protect me. You gave me the strength and time to come back to life. Everything I do with you feels like a miracle," Kang wrote, expressing her affection. She added, "Let's live kindly and peacefully, with deep consideration and trust for each other."
Kang also personally announced her remarriage, stating, "My children and I have formed a new family with a wonderful person, and we are currently creating precious laughter and happiness in our daily lives." She confessed, "I ask for your deep understanding that I am sharing this news only now, as I was cautious about potentially causing a stir. While I didn't want to make a loud announcement, I realized that it is also important to properly let you know how I am living my life, so I gathered the courage to share this."
Kang also revealed that she had many thoughts while preparing for Children's Day and Parents' Day. She confessed, "I pondered what kind of mindset I should have as a mother of two elementary school-aged boys born in consecutive years, and as a wife in a newly formed family. In the end, I realized the most important and simplest way was my own happiness."
Meanwhile, Kang Sung-yeon married Mr. A in 2012 and had two sons, but they divorced in 2022. This fact was made public in 2023.
