Singer and actor RAIN (real name Jung Ji-hoon) is set to showcase a legendary performance that will go down in K-pop history, along with his unfiltered wit.
The upcoming episode of SBS's "uh, but like, seriously!", airing on the 11th, will feature the world premiere of RAIN's new song and a historic collaboration with his junior, KAI.
The most anticipated highlight is the joint performance between RAIN and KAI. KAI, who has long cited RAIN as his role model, recreated the "Rainism" stage in front of him, saying, "I've been dancing to RAIN's songs since I was in elementary school. I'm as nervous as I was when I debuted." In response, RAIN, who praised KAI by saying, "I think KAI is the best dancer among my juniors," joined him on stage. The collaboration between the two "dance gods" created a frenzy on set.
RAIN's extraordinary passion for acting will also be revealed. Regarding his transformation into a top-tier villain in the recently released Netflix series "Bloodhounds 2," he shared his intense dedication, stating, "I decided to appear in it immediately without even reading the script. I poured my entire body into boxing for six months."
His "real friend" chemistry with Tak Jae-hoon is another key point to watch. RAIN caught Tak Jae-hoon off guard by exposing a past anecdote where Tak had dismissed him, asking, "What can you even do?" RAIN then referred to Tak as "Tak-ttugi" (a portmanteau of Tak Jae-hoon and 'roly-poly toy'), explaining, "He's a guy who reaches the top but falls to the bottom, yet always bounces back like a roly-poly toy." He then sent the set into chaos with a brutal, deadpan remark: "Juniors vow to themselves that they shouldn't live like Tak Jae-hoon."
RAIN's performance, capturing everything from his charisma on stage to his human charm, will be revealed on "uh, but like, seriously!" airing on Monday, the 11th, at 10:10 PM.
