Singer G-DRAGON is reportedly set to feature on aespa's upcoming comeback album.
The news of his participation in 'WDA (Whole Different Animal)', a pre-release track from aespa's new album set to drop on May 11 at 6 p.m., was revealed after a KBS music video review document was leaked.
'WDA' is a pre-release song from aespa's second full-length album, 'LEMONADE', which is scheduled for release on May 29. While aespa had initially only announced the song title and release schedule, G-DRAGON's involvement was confirmed during the broadcasting station's review process.
This is not the first collaboration between aespa and G-DRAGON. aespa member Karina made a surprise appearance in the music video for 'TOO BAD', the title track of G-DRAGON's third full-length album 'Übermensch' released in February of last year. Following that, aespa appeared on the MBC variety show 'Good Day', which also featured G-DRAGON, drawing significant attention.
Meanwhile, aespa's new album 'LEMONADE' is their first full-length album in about two years since the release of 'Armageddon' in 2024. The album will feature a total of 10 tracks, and with the pre-release song 'WDA', the group has signaled the start of a new chapter in the aespa universe.
The album will be released on May 29 at 1 p.m.
