The Netflix series 'Teach You a Lesson' has confirmed its release date for June 5 and has unveiled its teaser poster and trailer.
Based on the webtoon of the same name, 'Teach You a Lesson' revolves around a fictional government agency called the 'Teachers' Rights Protection Bureau.' The show follows the thrilling exploits of the bureau's inspectors, who were established to protect the South Korean education system from collapsing due to students, teachers, and parents who cross the line.
The teaser poster released on the 7th features the confident looks of the core members of the Teachers' Rights Protection Bureau: Na Hwa-jin (played by Kim Mu-yeol), Choi Kang-seok (played by Lee Sung-min), Im Han-rim (played by Jin Ki-joo), and Bong Geun-dae (played by Pyo Ji-hoon). Standing against a backdrop of a torn anti-school violence banner, their relaxed smiles, combined with the tagline "We will protect you," raise expectations for their journey as a reliable pillar of support for victims.
The accompanying trailer offers an overwhelming sense of immersion. Na Hwa-jin, who introduces himself as an inspector from the Teachers' Rights Protection Bureau, instantly subdues the villains who have taken over the school with relentless multi-opponent combat and high-octane car chase action.
Furthermore, Lee Sung-min, playing Minister of Education Choi Kang-seok, captures the core theme of the series with the heavy-hitting line, "We are not on the side of the teachers or the students, but on the side of the victims." Jin Ki-joo as Im Han-rim and Pyo Ji-hoon as Bong Geun-dae also join the cast with their own unique charms, completing the fantastic chemistry of 'Team Teachers' Rights Bureau' as they work to restore the broken school.
'Teach You a Lesson,' which will deliver a thrilling catharsis to viewers by breaking existing molds and tackling school issues in unconventional ways, will be released on Netflix on June 5.
