Ahn Hyo Seop and Chae Won-been of "Sold Out on You" have hit a major roadblock right from their first live broadcast.

In the fifth episode of the SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama "Sold Out on You" (written by Jin Seung-hee, directed by Ahn Jong-yeon), which aired on the 6th, Matthew Lee (played by Ahn Hyo Seop) and Dam Ye-jin (played by Chae Won-been) faced an urgent crisis after discovering an unexpected product defect just before their home shopping live broadcast.

Driven by this intense development, "Sold Out on You" is achieving significant results in terms of popularity. As of the 7th, the show has proven its global fandom by maintaining its ranking on the Netflix Global Top 10 Non-English TV Shows list for two consecutive weeks. Additionally, the peak minute viewership rating for the fifth episode soared to 3.5% (based on Nielsen Korea), establishing it as a powerhouse in the Wednesday-Thursday drama slot.

In the episode, Matthew Lee showed deep trust in show host Dam Ye-jin. He particularly touched viewers by including a special clause in the contract to ensure Dam Ye-jin's well-being and by becoming a quietly supportive figure, moved by her professional attitude as she worked to overcome her past trauma.

However, the peace was short-lived. On the day of the launch, Matthew Lee discovered an abnormal growth of microorganisms in the essence scheduled for sale during a laboratory inspection. It was a critical situation where the live broadcast had to be stopped to prevent a quality control disaster. Nevertheless, Dam Ye-jin headed to the set, insisting it was a "promise to the customers," and shocked the audience as soon as the broadcast began by declaring, "We will not be selling the essence on today's show."

Attention is now focused on how this unprecedented situation of halting product sales will affect the future of the two characters, and whether they can turn this crisis into an opportunity. The sixth episode of "Sold Out on You" airs tonight (the 7th) at 9:00 PM.
