'National MC' Yu Jae-seok is transforming into a 'novice camp director' for a massive new camping project, joined by staff members Lee Kwang-soo, Byeon Wooseok, and Ji Ye-eun.
Premiering on the 26th, the Netflix variety show 'Jae-seok's B&B Rules!' follows novice camp director Yu Jae-seok and his staff—Lee Kwang-soo, Byeon Wooseok, and Ji Ye-eun—as they help guests escape their daily routines during a packed 3-day, 2-night camping experience. The show is generating buzz as a new type of lodging variety program from the production team behind 'Hyori's Homestay' and 'Kian's Bizarre B&B', in collaboration with Netflix.
On the 4th, Netflix released stills and statements from the 'Team Yu Jae-seok' crew, capturing their vibrant energy.
In his statement, Yu Jae-seok shared, "I was very nervous and curious about what would happen. The moments I remember most are when people from all different walks of life gathered together to play games, talk, and eventually become one, laughing and enjoying themselves. I hope viewers feel like they are at the camp with us while watching."
Lee Kwang-soo also expressed his excitement, saying, "I thought it would be fun from the moment we started recruiting guests, so I was thrilled and looking forward to being a part of it. Personally, it was like a 'comma' in my own life. I hope viewers can feel a sense of returning to their childhoods as they watch the guests, who have been living such busy lives, take a moment to forget everything and simply enjoy the camp."
The addition of actor Byeon Wooseok, who created a syndrome in 'Perfect Crown' and 'Lovely Runner', is particularly noteworthy. Byeon Wooseok said, "I still can't believe I'm working while wearing the same name tag as Yu Jae-seok, and it was an honor to work alongside such witty staff members like Kwang-soo and Ye-eun. I'm excited to show a more comfortable and natural side of myself, different from what I've shown in my acting projects. It was a new challenge, and I had a great time filming it, so I hope you enjoy watching."
'Icon of Youngsters' Ji Ye-eun added, "I hope you enjoy seeing our comfortable sides. It felt like the school retreats I imagined when I was younger, which made it even more special. The unexpected charms of the guests and the natural chemistry that formed between us are key points to look out for."
The production team hinted, "The chemistry between these four is a combination that captures both familiarity and freshness. Because the schedule was so intense, they became close very quickly, forming a 'real sibling-like chemistry.' Please look forward to the changes in their relationships."
'Jae-seok's B&B Rules!' will be released on Netflix over two weeks, with episodes 1–5 premiering on the 26th, followed by episodes 6–10 on June 2.
