2PM member and actor Ok Taec-yeon is opening a new chapter in his life as he marries his longtime partner.
Ok Taec-yeon will hold a wedding ceremony with his non-celebrity bride at a location in Seoul on the 24th. Out of consideration for the bride, the wedding will be held privately, with only family members, relatives, and close acquaintances in attendance.
Notably, in the wedding invitations recently sent to acquaintances, Ok Taec-yeon drew attention by describing the bride and himself as "two people who are 10 out of 10 for each other." This phrase, which is reminiscent of 2PM's debut song "10 Out of 10," has drawn reactions that it captures both his sincerity and wit.
According to reports, fellow 2PM member Hwang Chan-sung will serve as the MC for the wedding. Hwang Chan-sung is a "marriage senior" who married in 2021 and has a daughter. In addition, the members of 2PM are scheduled to add meaning to the event by performing a congratulatory song together.
Ok Taec-yeon has been in a public relationship since 2020, when he confirmed he was dating a non-celebrity four years his junior. It is known that they have been nurturing their love for approximately 10 years, including the time before they went public.
Last November, he personally shared the news of his marriage, stating, "I have promised to spend the rest of my life with a person who has understood and believed in me for a long time. We intend to walk through life together, becoming a reliable presence for each other."
He also expressed his gratitude to his fans, saying, "I am grateful to those who have supported me with unwavering hearts to help me become who I am today."
Furthermore, he made headlines during his acceptance speech at the '2025 KBS Drama Awards' by saying, "I am sincerely grateful to my bride-to-be. I love you."
