Epik High member Tablo has taken on a new challenge: film translation.
Tablo recently shared the news of his participation in the translation and subtitling of the film 'Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie' via his social media. He piqued fans' interest by posting, "Somehow, I ended up participating in a film imported by BDNS x Green Narae Media. Let's go."
The project Tablo worked on is the film 'Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie,' which is based on the web series and TV series of the same name created by Canadian creators Matt Johnson and Jay McCarroll. It is a mockumentary-style comedy that depicts the bizarre plans a band concocts to land a gig.
Tablo is a writer who holds a bachelor's degree in creative writing and a master's degree in English literature from Stanford University. He has been consistently active in writing as well as music, having published the short story collection 'Pieces of You' in 2008 and the essay collection 'BloNote' in 2016. Notably, he also has a history of translating his own novels.
Meanwhile, the film 'Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie' is scheduled to be released in Korea on May 20.
