Yuk Joong-wan kicked back with his close friend Kim Kwang-gyu.
On the April 21 episode of SBS’s "Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny", Yuk Joong-wan appeared as a new couple with his wife to mark their 10th wedding anniversary.
Enjoying his first real freedom in a decade, Yuk headed to Jinju with bestie Kim Kwang-gyu.
Seeing how much Kim had been taking care of himself lately, Yuk asked why. Kim joked, “That’s how you get married.” When Yuk teased that he still hadn’t given up hope, Kim shot back, “Of course. Wasn’t that every kid’s wish?” sparking laughter.
The duo set up a feast at Jinjuseong with Jinju-style cold noodles and chicken. Watching the ever-clumsy Kim, Yuk sighed, “You really need someone by your side.”
Kim quipped, “Want to live with me?” Yuk laughed, “I’m down. My wife would probably say yes, too. She’d feel the same―parenting is tough and you crave a little freedom.”
Kim joked, “So you’re saying you want a trial separation?” Yuk waved it off, laughing, “We’re actually super solid.”
Yuk then opened up about a creative slump. “Back then, ideas flowed every day. After starting a family, the routine got repetitive, and it’s hard to find inspiration,” he said.
Kim riffed, “If things are too quiet, try going on 'Divorce Camp.' It’s fun.”
Yuk jolted, “Wow, that woke me up. That never crossed my mind.” Watching this, 'Divorce Camp' MC Seo Jang-hoon added, “Not everyone goes on it just to get divorced,” cracking everyone up.
After their meal, the pair headed to Wolasan to unwind. They prepped for a pop-up busking session on a small stage tucked in the mountain.
As people gathered, they introduced themselves as the “Yuk-Kwang Band” and kicked off the show.
They powered through audience requests and even belted out songs they made on the spot, drawing eyes and ears to their impromptu set.
