A woman has alleged she suffered prolonged domestic abuse by a man known as the older brother of a popular girl group member, sending shockwaves through the community.
Identified as A, she recently opened a social media account and posted photos showing extensive bruises. “What did I do to deserve a beating? I did everything he told me to do, but he still hit me. When I said I couldn’t breathe and couldn’t live like this, he’d say, ‘So you want a divorce?’ and beat me like crazy,” she wrote.
She added, “He hit me for not saying ‘I love you,’ and when he was in a bad mood, he made me kneel and beg. I ran to my parents’ home out of fear, but he said it was my fault for leaving my husband and gaslit me into going back. Recently, he even came to my parents’ place, and my family is living in fear.” The claims have sparked intense scrutiny over what really happened.
A also shared what appears to be hospital documentation of past incidents. The record states, “After being hit by my husband at a pension, I called 112 while I was confined at home,” and includes diagnoses of headache and contusions to the right leg and hand.
She recalled, “When we first met, I was cheerful. After we filed our marriage registration, my expression darkened and I barely spoke. I walked around with layers of bandages on my arms.”
However, A drew a line, saying she only later learned her husband is the older brother of a popular girl group member. “I didn’t know he was her brother when we met. After we registered our marriage, I found out because his second daughter kept saying I looked like ‘OO aunt,’ so I searched and realized it,” she said, hinting that she plans to pursue legal action alongside others who say they suffered similar abuse.
