Cho Sae-ho, who stepped away from broadcasts after getting swept up in “gang-ties” rumors, will share a life update on "Screwballs".

In Episode 9 of the Netflix variety show "Screwballs", dropping Sunday the 19th at 5 p.m., Cho says, “When I wake up, all I’ve got is time. I work out every day,” opening up about why he’s become a full-on “muscle man” lately. It’s a tongue-in-cheek way of saying he funneled his newfound free time into the gym after pausing activities.

Previously, Cho faced a major backlash after allegations linking him to organized crime spread on social media. He denied the claims as “completely untrue” and signaled legal action. Still, acknowledging the public’s discomfort and disappointment, he voluntarily stepped down from all ongoing shows, including tvN’s "You Quiz on the Block" and KBS 2TV’s "2 Days & 1 Night," and halted activities.

In the Episode 9 special “Senior College MT,” Cho appears in elderly makeup and shows off a noticeably stronger, more muscular physique. Seeing this, castmate Kim Sook quips, “Your legs are like rocks. You really have a lot of time on your hands,” to which Cho fires back, “All I’ve got is time,” flipping his situation into variety gold. Fellow member Joo Woo-jae adds, “If you lose something, you should gain something too,” saying he respects Cho for trading work for time―and muscle―prompting laughs.

"Screwballs" Season 4, featuring Cho’s bittersweet-yet-funny update after stepping back from activities, streams every Sunday at 5 p.m. on Netflix.
