A new video captures Ahn Hyo-seop and Chae Won-bin from ‘Sold Out on You,’ plus Lim Ji-yeon and Heo Nam-joon from ‘My Royal Nemesis,’ in a pink-hued “blind date” mood ― and fans are intrigued.
On the 15th, SBS dropped clips showing Ahn Hyo-seop and Chae Won-bin, and Lim Ji-yeon and Heo Nam-joon, each looking like they’re on a first date.
In the video, both pairs are visibly nervous before their “dates.” As the vibe warms up, Ahn Hyo-seop asks, “Are you free?” hinting at an after-meet. Chae Won-bin answers, “Wednesday and Thursday at 9 p.m.,” keeping the flirty tone going. Then Heo Nam-joon asks, “How about Friday and Saturday?” and Lim Ji-yeon replies, “Sounds good. 9:50 p.m.?” sparking a playful mood.
It’s a clever concept video that bakes the broadcast schedule into a “blind date” setup for two new SBS dramas: the Wed-Thu series ‘Sold Out on You’ (written by Jin Seung-hee, directed by Ahn Jong-yeon), premiering April 22, and the Fri-Sat series ‘My Royal Nemesis’ (written by Kang Hyeon-joo, directed by Han Tae-seop), premiering May 8. The leads ― Ahn Hyo-seop and Chae Won-bin for ‘Sold Out on You,’ and Lim Ji-yeon and Heo Nam-joon for ‘My Royal Nemesis’ ― appear as if on dates to reveal each drama’s day and time.
The video is set to “I see you,” the OST by Heize for ‘Sold Out on You,’ which amps up the romantic feel. Narration lines like “A heart-fluttering time begins today” and “Find romance on SBS, Wed-Thu and Fri-Sat” further boost curiosity with both premieres just around the corner.
An SBS representative said, “This unified branding video connects two romance dramas airing Wed-Thu and Fri-Sat under a ‘blind date’ concept ― a shared-universe piece. It’s designed so viewers can sample two distinct romances in advance, and the setup where the four leads make eye contact with the audience naturally highlights each show’s time slot.”
