Lee Sang-min thanked Kim Gu-ra and Seo Jang-hoon.
On the April 14 episode of SBS’ "Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny", Lee appeared as a special MC.
Talking about the serial entrepreneurs featured that day, Lee said, “I don’t think those two are that tough. You have to factor in how long it takes to rebuild after a failure. It took me 20 years.”
Kim Sook then brought up his debts, saying, “For Lee Sang-min, the amount disclosed alone was 6.9 billion won.” Lee replied, “Honestly, that was the starting amount. After that, some creditors wanted more, so it kept increasing.”
Lee went on to call Seo Jang-hoon and Kim Gu-ra the benefactors who helped him make a comeback. “Kim Gu-ra recommended me for "The Genius." Thanks to him, I won Season 2 and received 106 million won in prize money,” he said.
As for Seo Jang-hoon, Lee shared, “When I was debating whether to appear on ‘My Little Old Boy,’ he told me, ‘You’re the biggest little old boy in the world―why wouldn’t you go on?’ Thanks to the two of them, I also won the Entertainment Awards last year.”
