TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT)’s YEONJUN opened up about burnout after his solo activities―and his unwavering love for the group.
At a media showcase in Seoul on the 13th for the release of “7TH YEAR,” he said, “There were many tough moments during team promotions, but I rarely felt it was a ‘crisis.’ It was hard, but the process was fun, and I always had confidence in the team. Early on, I couldn’t imagine we’d make it to re-signing, but now, in our seventh year, I’m so grateful to our fans.”
YEONJUN candidly shared how he felt after his solo album.
“While preparing this album―and after releasing my solo mini album ‘NO LABELS: PART 01’―I went through a pretty intense burnout,” he admitted. “It was a time when I thought deeply about myself and about the team. Through that period, I got to know who I am, and I’m still in that process. It was a time that helped me grow as a person and as an artist.”
Asked what he hopes to find at the end of that journey, he said, “In the end, it’s this team. I hope TOMORROW X TOGETHER can stay together for a very, very long time.”
The new album includes six tracks: the title track “Stick With You,” “Bed of Thorns,” “Take Me to Nirvana,” “So What,” “21st Century Romance,” and “After the Next” (literal translation).
