Comedian Lee Jin-ho has reportedly collapsed due to a brain hemorrhage and is being treated in the intensive care unit.

SM C&C said on the 9th in an official statement, “Lee Jin-ho was hospitalized on the afternoon of the 1st due to a sudden brain hemorrhage, and he is currently regaining consciousness while focusing on treatment. His life is not in danger, and we ask for your warm support so he can devote himself to recovery.”

Lee Jin-ho debuted in 2005 as an SBS special recruit comedian and gained attention with his “Woong’s Father” character, later appearing on a range of variety shows including tvN’s "Comedy Big League." However, he had halted activities amid a series of controversies. In 2024, he disclosed his illegal gambling, and in September of that year he was forwarded to prosecutors without detention. He was also caught driving under the influence the same year.

As treatment continues, many are watching for updates on his condition and recovery.
