Actor Yoon Sang-jung is set to return in Tving’s original series "Study Group" Season 2.
After "Study Group" earned major buzz and love from fans in Korea and abroad last year, Season 2 is officially a go. Yoon Sang-jung is joining the new season, teasing a bigger character arc and a fresh acting transformation.
In Season 1, Yoon played Choi Hee-won, a shy model student on the surface with an unpredictable, twist-filled charm underneath―leaving a strong impression. She delicately balanced a calm exterior with a cool, clear-eyed inner world, bringing the webtoon character to life in a three-dimensional way and earning viewer praise.
Since then, Yoon delivered down-to-earth, true-to-life acting as Ji So-yeon in tvN’s "Pro Bono." She then took on her first lead role as Han Sang-mi in tvN’s "Housekeeper," proving steady, grounded skills. With restrained emotion and immersive performance, she anchored the story and showed clear growth as an actor, according to reviews.
Always unveiling a new side with every project, Yoon Sang-jung is expected to make her presence felt again in "Study Group" Season 2 with deeper emotions and an expanded character journey.
Meanwhile, Yoon Sang-jung has begun filming for "Study Group" Season 2 and is kicking off full-scale activities.
