BTS leader RM opened up about his worries for the team ― and admitted he had second thoughts after a recent live stream ― showing a candid, down-to-earth side.

RM and SUGA appeared on Epik High’s content series “Are You Eating? ft. BTS RM, SUGA,” released on the 26th. The two, who’ve known Epik High since their trainee days, kept the conversation flowing with easy chemistry and affection for the group.

Tablo shared a behind-the-scenes moment from RM’s live broadcast. “After he went live, I got a message,” Tablo said. “He turned the stream off, sighed, and texted, ‘Ah… I shouldn’t have turned the live on.’”

RM laughed, replying, “I’m trying not to go live that much anymore.” But Tablo pushed back: “That’s what makes it fun. When you watch with love, it’s even better.” RM noted their emotional wavelength, saying, “Maybe it’s like looking in a mirror,” and Tukutz chimed in that RM and Tablo share a similar logical streak.

Tablo added, “He’s a musician, but he feels like an MC ― a real ‘move the crowd’ MC. And he even ‘moved the news,’” joking about the media attention RM’s live drew.

Epik High also recalled how, around the 2020 release of “Dynamite” when BTS’s global popularity was exploding, there were heavy, private concerns. Tukutz said, “One evening, RM messaged, ‘Hyung, are you free?’ and came by the studio. He poured out worries about the team for almost two hours. I don’t remember every detail ― he vented it all by himself and then asked me to drive him home,” prompting laughter.

Even more interesting, SUGA showed up the very next day with similar concerns. “SUGA came to the studio the day after and talked about the exact same team worries,” Tablo said. “We couldn’t tell each of them the other had come. But seeing they were thinking along the same lines made me believe, ‘This team will be fine.’ Sharing the same direction is why a group can last.”

RM said, “That’s why I wanted to ask the hyungs. They’ve kept a team going for a long time, so I wanted advice,” expressing his care and concern for BTS. SUGA explained, “Back then, we originally planned to enlist after the tour, but the flow changed. In that process, something like ‘Daechwita’ came out,” pointing to a turning point in BTS’s activities.

Content capturing the 15-year friendship between Epik High and BTS members racked up 1.3 million views in just 12 hours, becoming a hot topic.
