Park Min-young, Yook Sungjae, and Go Soo are teaming up for SBS’s new drama "Nine to Six".
SBS’s upcoming series "Nine to Six" (written by Choi Ji-o, directed by Lee Hyung-min and Oh Song-hee) follows a relatable office romance between three very different people: Kang I-ji (Park Min-young), a cool-headed deputy manager in the Legal Team who has always proven herself through work; Han Sun-woo (Yook Sungjae), a warm-hearted intern who uses kindness as his superpower; and Park Hyun-tae (Go Soo), a division head.
Park Min-young plays Kang I-ji, a workaholic deputy manager in Chronic Motors’ Legal Team. I-ji believes love and marriage are just the result of hormones―until she meets sweet younger man Han Sun-woo and the ideal boss Park Hyun-tae, which sparks a heart-fluttering change. Expectations are high for the “rom-com queen” to once again own the office-romance lane after hits like "What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim," "Forecasting Love and Weather" and "Marry My Husband."
Yook Sungjae transforms into the near-perfect younger man, Han Sun-woo, dialing up the swoon factor. As a new intern in Chronic Motors’ Legal Team, Sun-woo earns his team’s trust with sharp judgment and diligence. He’s warm and responsible in equal measure. After proving his chops in "The Haunted Palace," Yook returns with a more mature take on romance―raising anticipation for his new character.
Go Soo has been cast as Park Hyun-tae, a newly dispatched division head at Chronic Motors Korea, adding to the buzz. In the story, Hyun-tae evaluates Kang I-ji based solely on her skills. Notably, this marks Go Soo’s first romance project in about 15 years, heightening curiosity about the fresh charms he’ll bring to the role and the romantic tension he’ll create on screen.
Above all, the romance synergy among Park Min-young, Yook Sungjae, and Go Soo is already sparking excitement. With acting, visuals, and chemistry all in sync, this trio is poised to paint living rooms with sweet, feel-good vibes.
SBS’s "Nine to Six", starring Park Min-young, Yook Sungjae, and Go Soo, is slated to air in the second half of this year.
