Comedian Lee Su-geun shows peak “wife guy” energy that even makes Tak Jae-hoon jealous.
On the March 23 episode of SBS’s "uh, but like, seriously!", trusted variety ace Lee Su-geun joins the 4 MCs and sparks non-stop laughter with rapid-fire banter from the jump.
During filming, Lee opened up about his next-level devotion to his wife. “All our assets are under my wife’s name, and the loans are under mine,” he said, adding, “I chased her to marry me, so I feel responsible.” He even revealed he handles most of the housework, cementing his first-place husband status.
When Tak Jae-hoon sniped, “You think that’s how you avoid divorce?” Lee shot back, “If a man treats his wife right, there’s no divorce. Hyung, why didn’t you?” sending the set into chaos.
Known as a “pro helper,” Lee picked Lee Kyung-kyu as the easiest senior to look after among Lee Kyung-kyu, Kang Ho-dong, and Seo Jang-hoon. “Senior Lee Kyung-kyu is simple. Just complain with him about whoever he’s complaining about,” he joked. When the MCs asked, “What about Kang Ho-dong―do you do everything he says because you’re afraid he’ll hit you?” Lee quipped, “I’ve got trauma. But he doesn’t hit me when the cameras are off,” making everyone burst into laughter.
Lee also claimed he has sharp instincts. “When my mother was pregnant with me, she received a shamanic calling, so my intuition is unusual,” he said―then told Lee Su-ji, “I see divorce energy for you,” shocking the studio. When Lee Su-ji fumed, “Then what do I do―am I going to end up like Tak Jae-hoon?” Tak fired back, “I knew it the moment you threw your wedding ring on TV,” piling on the laughs.
