The film "The King's Warden" has overtaken Avengers: Endgame (13.93 million admissions) to claim No. 5 on Korea’s all-time box office chart.
According to the Korean Film Council’s integrated box office data on the 20th, "The King's Warden" drew 107,193 moviegoers nationwide on the 19th. Its cumulative total is now 13,953,452.
With this, "The King's Warden" moves past "Avengers: Endgame" to rank fifth all time in Korea. The top titles are "The Admiral: Roaring Currents" (17.61 million), "Extreme Job" (16.26 million), "Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds" (14.41 million), and "Ode to My Father" (14.25 million).
Now in its seventh week, "The King's Warden" has begun to slow but is still pulling over 100,000 viewers a day. At this pace, it’s expected to break the 14 million mark today.
Meanwhile, "Project Hail Mary" holds the No. 2 spot at the box office with 53,227 admissions.
