The launch stills, unveiled on the 19th, first grab attention with infected visuals we’ve never seen before. Blood-soaked figures and uncanny, slime-like imagery spark an unfamiliar dread, hinting at a new species set to appear in "Colony".

We also see Kwon Se-jung (Jun Ji-hyun) tracking the infected from inside the high-rise, Seo Young-chul (Koo Kyo-hwan) holding steady with zero hesitation, Choi Hyun-seok (Ji Chang-wook) standing guard beside his sister Choi Hyun-hee (Kim Shin-rok) in a wheelchair, and Gong Seol-hee (Shin Hyun Been) on a tense phone call. Their faces make it clear: something is very wrong.

Featuring a powerhouse cast ― Jun Ji-hyun, Koo Kyo-hwan, Ji Chang-wook, Shin Hyun Been, Kim Shin-rok, and Go Soo ― "Colony" previously drew notice with a 30-second teaser and concept typography reveal. The newly released launch stills tease the birth of a species unlike standard zombies, fueling curiosity about what they really are.

All eyes are on "Colony" to see if Yeon Sang-ho, who helped ignite the K-zombie wave worldwide, will push the genre forward once again.

"Colony" is slated to hit theaters in May 2026.
