K-pop artists are set to make a major splash at Lollapalooza Chicago, underscoring their global pull as they join the lineup in force.
According to the Lollapalooza Chicago 2026 lineup announced on the 18th (local time), BLACKPINK’s JENNIE has been tapped as a headliner. She will share top billing with Charli XCX, Tate McRae, Lorde, and Olivia Dean.
JENNIE’s headlining slot is being seen as another sign of her impact in the global pop market. She has previously appeared on major international stages including Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, Governors Ball Music Festival, and Mad Cool Festival.
The bill also features K-pop acts I-DLE, aespa, and CORTIS. For I-DLE, this marks their first-ever Lollapalooza appearance, and anticipation is high for a performance powered by their global fandom.
I-DLE recently found success on domestic and international charts with their digital single “Mono (Feat. skaiwater).” They have also appeared on NBC’s "The Today Show" and "The Kelly Clarkson Show" as they continue activities in North America. On the 22nd, they are set to guest on 102.7 KIIS FM’s "iHeart K-Pop with JoJo" for local promotions.
Lollapalooza is a large-scale music festival held annually at Chicago’s Grant Park and is known to draw around 400,000 attendees.
Lollapalooza Chicago 2026 will take place from July 30 to August 2 at Grant Park in Chicago, U.S.
