Kwaktube promised he’ll share his bank account password with his wife.
On the March 16 episode of SBS’s "uh, but like, seriously!", Kwaktube made an appearance.
He revealed his wife is due soon and that they’ve been making regular OB-GYN visits. He also addressed their premarital pregnancy.
“I was overseas when I got the call that she was pregnant. I was really shocked. We had never―” he started, confusing the studio.
Comedian Lee Su-ji snapped, “How do you get pregnant if that never happened?” He quickly clarified, “I mean, it wasn’t planned.”
Kwaktube said he felt grateful and happy about the news. “We originally planned for a honeymoon baby and were going to marry in May, but because of the pregnancy we moved up the wedding,” he explained.
He joked that, for the child’s future, he hopes the baby takes after his wife. “Finding out it’s a boy really moved me. I almost cried,” he said. “I’d heard ‘first daughters take after their dads,’ so the night before the gender reveal I was so worried I couldn’t sleep,” he added with a laugh.
He then shared an ultrasound of his son, calling him his mini-me.
Kwaktube also opened up about turning their honeymoon into YouTube content. “I really hesitated. I thought I looked like someone way too obsessed with YouTube,” he admitted.
“But my wife said we should film it as a memory, so we did―and the views were amazing,” he said, relieved by the positive response.
Later, he surprised everyone by admitting he hasn’t shared his bank account password with his wife and that they haven’t combined finances. Lee Sang-min and Tak Jae-hun teased, “Are you already thinking about divorce?”
“I’ve saved well, so I figured we could just spend from my account. That’s why I didn’t combine them on purpose. But I do show her everything,” Kwaktube replied.
When asked about his wife’s spending limit, he said, “She barely buys anything. Even if I tell her it’s okay to buy something for 5,000 won, she won’t.” The panel scolded him: “5,000 won? How tight were you with her?”
Lee Su-ji added, “Isn’t it more frustrating if you only show the account but don’t share the password?” Kwaktube promised he’d go home and tell his wife the password right away, drawing laughs.
